The man in the photo is LV Martin.
He, and his sons, used to run an electronics shop when I was growing up.
Their motto was something like, “LV Martin and Sons. It’s the putting right that counts”.
Because way back then - in the 7os and 80s - almost every electronic item you bought broke and had to be fixed.
Maybe it wasn’t “almost every” item, but the proportion that broke and had to be fixed was so high that LV etc advertised the fixing - the putting right - over the actual products.
It used to be the same with software.
Less so now.
Still not perfect.
