Living in the wrong skin?

Yesterday, I mentioned that a book helped me escape from a job I hated.

It's called Strengths Finder 2.0.

Confession: I've not actually read it.

I read the intro and did the online test that comes with the book.

The test results tell you what you’re best at.

I learnt I was a thinker - an “ideas man” - who is best at helping leaders and managers, rather than being a manager.

I realised I was living in the wrong skin.

Which was fantastic news for me, since I'm a human and we humans are good at changing our metaphoric skins.

Kinda like hermit crabs can change their shells.

It's a great book. I've gifted dozens of copies to clients.

Take care, see you next week ... Clarke

p.s.

  • I may run a short-n-snappy $99 course called "Trust Building for Leaders"
  • If you're interested ... can you hit reply, and let me know?
  • No commitment - I'm just hoping to gauge interest.
