"I come out in a rash whenever I hear extended metaphors. It's analogy."
Alex Kitson: Must I Paint You A Picture?

That - according to the UK Times - is one of the best jokes from this year’s Edinburgh Festival.

“Best” … being a relative term.

I love metaphors … they’re my problem-solving superpower.

Over the coming days, I’m gonna share 2, maybe 3, metaphor that will help you better understand GROWTH.

Each note will be short and snappy - like a baby crocodile 🐊.

To warm things up … did you notice the image at the top of this email?

Scroll up, and take a look.

Caterpillar-> Chrysalis -> Butterfly is a common metaphor for growth.

Though not one I find especially useful.

There are more - I’ve got one that I bet you’ve never heard of before - it’s my favourite.

Talk soon, and don’t be shy hitting reply and saying hello.
