Hello again!
I promised you more info on my AgileToCMethod … aka The ATM … and, today, I deliver!
Over the last year, or so, JF and Mun Wai from the Our Agile Tales podcast have interviewed me (repeatedly) (until they got sick of my voice, I’m guessing) about the ATM - why it is, what it is, and how to use it - and they’ve just released the first 2 episode in the series.
You can subscribe & listen here:

I’ve just had a listen and I had that weird experience where, several times, I thought, “Oh … that’s interesting ... I wish I’d thought of that”.
So … it might be worth listening to.
At least you won’t have to cringe, like I did, as I listened to the horrible sound of my own voice 📣🙉 🤯.
Here’s a pic of the model, with 2 new bits that you won’t have seen before - my DCP and FBI change models.
I mention both in the podcasts:
- The DCP is the high-level bottleneck management process you use to move the bottleneck from the wrong place to the right place … and keep it there.
- The FBI is the lower-level iterative process of making that move - a magical mixture of ToC’s focus and Agile’s iterative delivery.
Remember, in software development, it’s all about making sure the bottleneck is in the right place and, almost always, it’s not.
If you have time this weekend, take a listen.
The episodes are short, and I suspect you’ll find them useful.
Please, if you have 30 seconds spare, hit reply, say hello … and make my day 😃
