Hello!! Hope you’re having a nice weekend and taking it easy!
In this weekend edition:
- I start with 2 interesting - but not free - recommendations. They will cost you money, but only if they're right for you (or a loved one), and you decide to pay for them. One may save a business. One may save a life.
- And then, further down below, you'll find links to the past week's daily emails.
Recommendation 1: Enchanted Copywriting Course
This copywriting course is maybe the best online course I've ever done.
To start with: I actually completed it - which is unheard of and extraordinary!
And, I've started using what I learnt.
I'm a professional writer, but writing sales copy ... 🤮🤢😓⚠️
It's a different skill, a different type of writing, a different mindset, and I've spent most of my life avoiding doing it.
The Enchanted Copywriting Course has taken the ick out of selling, for me.
Not cheap, not expensive, but a bargain if you need to sell stuff, ideas or yourself.
Recommendation 2: Continuous Diabetic Monitor
This continuous blood glucose monitor is expensive but it may have saved my life.
If you've got a diabetic friend, read on ...
Here's the thing:
- I've been diabetic for 20+ years, and every morning before breakfast, and every evening before dinner, I test my blood sugar. Two readings a day.
- This expensive little device takes a reading every minute.
- And then it shows you what's going on during the day.
- And ... woah ... I didn't expect to see what I saw.
I plugged it in last Monday, and I've discovered that my blood sugars are waaaayayayayay higher during the day than I ever thought.
And that's why I feel so f^$#&%g tired during the day.
I've started experimenting with different foods, and different insulin doses, and ...
... I feel like a new man.
The best thing:
- it is expensive because each monitor only lasts 2 weeks,
- but (apparently) you learn so much in 2 weeks,
- you probably only need to buy one and you're good for a few years.
This week's posts:
Here are links to everything I shared from Monday to Friday.
I'm writing about growth, and how clever people grow as leaders. Growth is about change. And - this surprised me when I first learnt it - stories (novels, movies, etc) are also about growth and change. So, this week I've started weaving in some of the lessons I've learned from storytelling.
Thanks, take care,
Clarke
